Roberto Erculiani
Of Italian nationality, Roberto Erculiani was born in Verona in 1969. He studies in Conservatory L. Campiani of Mantova with the Prof. Fausto Pedretti, obtaining the Final Diploma of Bassoon (1990). He study also with the Prof. Rino Vernizzi to: Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale (1991/92) in Saluzzo (Torino) and in Corso per Professori d`Orchestra in Bologna (1994/96). In (Bobbio 1990, Fiesole 1990, Porto 1998) he frequented Master Class with Prof. Sergio Azzolini. In 1991 he gained the first prize in the Concorso Internazionale di Musica da Camera di Asti and, in 1992 the third prize in the Concorso Internazionale di Musica da Camera della Versilia. He gained the competitions for the place of first bassoon in the Orchestra Filarmonica di Parma(1990) and in the Orchestra Sinfonica di Savona (1992).
Roberto Erculiani lives in Portugal from 1996 where after public competition win the, first bassoon in the Orquestra do Norte(1996), first bassoon in Filarmonia das Beiras (1997), bassoon soloist in the Remix Ensemble of the Casa da Música (2000). In Portugal he collaborated with: Orquestra Nacional do Porto, Orquestra Sinfonica Portuguesa, Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa, Orquestra do Algarve, Sinfonietta de Lisboa and Orquestra da Camara Portuguesa.
Currently teaches in Escola Profissional Metropolitana of Lisbon and is Solo Bassoon in the Remix Ensemble of Casa da Música (Portugal)
